If you ever wanted to
play
 Our ukulele class will teach you to play basic chords, read chord charts, tune your ukulele, and strum basic patterns. You will be able to accompany yourself or others while singing simple songs. In a short period, you will be ready for that Luau and all the Hawaiian Sing-A-Longs! As you continue, you will learn how to read the notes and melody lines of songs. In addition, you will learn the theory of music, how to pick the strings, and do various accompanying styles. Pieces are assigned each week and checked the following week before new pieces are given. We have a music recital twice a year where students show off what they learned. Participation is optional.
