Have fun learning how to play acoustic guitar (6-string) or base guitar (4-string) in our private lessons.

Beginning students learn how to play basic chords, strum basic patterns, read chord charts, tune their guitars, and accompany themselves or others while singing simple songs.

Intermediate students learn the theory behind the music and how to read notes (melodies of songs).

Advanced students study classical guitar music and learn all kinds of classical songs, picking styles, and various techniques from scales to Bach, Carcassi, Fernando Sor, etc.

Pieces are assigned each week and checked the following week before new pieces are given.

We have a music recital twice a year where students show off what they learned. Participation is optional.

All guitar students must meet these requirements:

Gender:		Male or Female
Age:		7 and up (30 minute lessons)
		10 and up (60 minute lessons)
Equipment:		1) Your own guitar 2) Guitar tuner 3) Folder for music
